We had our new windows installed on January 7th , they did a good job and were very professional (the installers) after my windows were installed I was told someone from window world would contact me to have the slats that cover up the screws installed needless to say I have heard nothing from window world so I called 4 days ago ! No one had returned my call and you can’t get anyone on the phone either! It goes strait to voice mail! It would be great if they practice better customer service and answer the phones , so I have no idea if I’ll ever get my slats installed! Come on window world !!!! Ppl pay a lot of money for new windows and you would think they would return phone calls !

Our experience with Window World went well. The installers were nice and got the job done well. We can really tell a difference in our home energy and outdoors sounds. There was only one issue. The installers broke one of our sprinklers but the company rectified it right away. I appreciate them honoring the fix. We are honest people and now we know Window World is also.

One of the windows installed 8 years ago has lost its gas seal. Getting it replaced is as easy as calling with the serial number on the window and they order it. Once it is in we can schedule the install. Love it!

Just placed an Order to replace the Windows at the front of my home. I had three companies come and take a look, Window world had the lowest price and the quality seemed to be pretty good and they need to meet Florida Hurricane Standards as well, It is still early in the process, there is currently an 11 week wait for the windows to be made (which is around the same time quoted from the other companies. Our Sales rep is DJ, he was very prompt, Knowledgeable and Patient. This is a big decision and he did not do the pushy salesman thing. He took the time to explain all the options and made helpful suggestions. I'll update the review as the process goes along and let you know how it goes

This review is for the sales process. Windows will not be installed for another 14 to 16 weeks which is pretty much standard across the industry in my location. Reed our sales was the most professional of the 4 company's we had for bids. New South sales consultant was high pressure, condensending and became rude when we told him we weren't buying that day and was $10,000 higher than Window World. I will see what the final outcome is and will post back.

When I ordered my windows to replace all of the originals in my home, the timeline was to be 9-12 weeks for the windows to arrive. In 4 weeks from ordering I received a call that the windows were ready and they were installed the next day! Impressive!

Under warranty repair service today was excellent performed by Tony. He had to replace some hardware for a large window installed by Window World several years ago. Total cost to repair was 0 under their warranty coverage they provide. Very happy with office schedule and prompt repair. We live by UCF area for context.

21 windows contracted and installed by WW this July in Winter Springs.
The good:
Salesman was knowledgeable
Windows arrived on time
Installers and helpers arrived as scheduled

The not so good:
Installation took two days (expected) but the installers left trash and equipment all over our home when they left for the day on the first day

They trampled several of my Shrubs during the install. I was told I had to deal with the installer to address this, was not aware he was a sub contractor.

Found 4 screws and broken glass in the driveway waiting for my tires

They installed all 21 windows without using a level, rule #1 for any certified window installer they must be square to work properly. Obviously this is part of the reason the windows are hard to open.

All but 4 windows are very tight to open, no where near how the sample opened. I was told to use pledge to make them slide better. Marginal improvement.

All the Window glass was not cleaned, inside and out. I was told I had to do that, my $16 000 did not include cleaning.

Charged me for "bucking" should it be needed and told me they would refund if they did not. First time I asked the installer, they said they used it for all 21 windows, $1,500 worth. Then when I finally was able to speak to their "manager", Richard, he checked and said they only used it on 6 windows. I told them to come out and show me the windows, then the story changed again to not using bucking at all. Be aware, I have concerns that this is a problem on every install as most people do not know what bucking is. Email me!

The county inspector came and failed two of the windows due to their pressure ratings, I have heard nothing since the inspection and the inspectors office notified WW of the issue.

Made 4 calls to them before anyone would talk to me about these issues, spoke to Richard who said he was like a district manager and could not do anything about the problems other than credit me for the bucking they did not use. ( be aware you may be taken advantage of if you do not pay attention is it is easy money and easy to overlook ).

If I had to do it again, I would not use them based upon this experience..

Found out after almost 3 years that I was sold the wrong windows. I ordered single hung and they gave me double hung. Did not notice it this whole time, except for the fact that SOME of the stickers said DH for double hung and I thought that was strange. I had the job done in 3 installations and the FIRST installation was SINGLE HUNG. The salesman claims the price was not more for double hung and also claims he did what I asked for. DOUBLE HUNG windows are a complete waste, for me, anyway. I can't even reach the top of the window and can't get the screen off. Very dissatisfied with the service and would NOT recommend this company. Also having a problem with the sealant they used collecting dirt and sticky substance that I have to SCRUB off. Go with NEW SOUTH WINDOWS.

I interviewed several window companies for my home (Anderson, Pella, FHIC, Window World). In each case they presented their product and then their cost. In each case there was a price “if you sign the contract TODAY”, a second (increased) price if you signed within 30 days, and/or a final price if you sign within the year-except Window World. WW gave only 1 price which was good for a year. This fact alone made my choice easier. I do NOT like pressure “to buy now or the price goes up” especially with a major purchase. Additionally their price was lower, but that was not the deciding factor.
Their installation was excellent, they cleaned up after they finished and they were polite and considerate at all times. I am very happy with my purchase (all windows, a sliding door and a front entrance door).

Price was competitive. Quality was better than expected. They repaired within a week a few window sills that were cracked during removal and installation. Installers were professional. Home is much quieter now. Very satisfied.

The quality of the windows and the installation work is excellent. I have used Window World Orlando on three occasions dating back to 2008 and I am very satisfied with the product and the professionalism of the installation crews. They provide a demonstration of all the features and explain how to obtain warranty service quickly for every window using its unique serial number.The front of my house is south-facing and it previously had single pane aluminum frame windows that transmitted a LOT of heat. In the afternoon with the sun hitting those windows directly the rooms in the front of the house were always 2-3 degrees warmer. After getting the Window World Low-e double pane vinyl frame windows installed, there is a dramatically lower and noticeable temperature difference. Even in the middle of the afternoon the rooms are comfortable and the windows transmit light but not infrared heat into the house. Quality windows are worth the price.The only issues I have had with Window World is the lead time between placing the order and the delivery of the windows. I ordered the windows (with a 50% deposit) in the second week of January but they were not ready for installation until late April. Each window is custom built to the exact dimensions and their factory has a significant backlog of work.

Window World did an excellent job installing my new windows. I had 8 Windows, 3 Sliding Glass doors and an Entry door installed. My experience with their client advisor Aj was okay. Initially from the beginning of the appointment Aj was “on time” which I “greatly” appreciated that. He seemed a bit mechanical in his approach in determining the type of windows I needed.He spoke very fast and at times I needed a clear explanation of the fire code requirements for windows. But he was willing to explain nicely.My only advise or suggestion for Aj is to slow down in explaining information to clients.As the appointment progressed Aj began to be more relaxed. He was very nice and informative and I felt he was very thorough in taking his time measuring my window openings and doing a complete diagram of the windows needed. The only suggestion I would make is to be mindful & careful of your conversations with your clients as you are working and not “joke” about “any” group of people. Whether it is a certain religious group, sexual orientation, political, or race or ethnicity. Stay away from sensitive topics such as these because you never know who’s home you have entered into!!..Overall the appointment started professional and ended that way... Other than that small incident. my appointment & experience with this representative was very nice. I feel Aj is a very dedicated representative that really enjoys his job and his company. He did his best to get my windows measured correctly....In the pass I have had two other window installs by Window World. And they did a great job and their windows look great. Their pricing is good too. Overall I’m very pleased with Window Worlds service... Thank you again for taking care of our family’s needs.

Windows have not been installed yet but, my experience so far with the sales rep, James Van Alstine, has been great.

After getting many quotes from lots of different companies, not only was Window World one of the lowest, they also had a great warranty and I felt most comfortable with my decision, rather than some of the other sales reps which were at times a little pushy. I got no pressure from James, but he still took the time to give a full quote and go over all the benefits l, without applying sales pressure.

All in all, a great experience so far, and hope it continues during and after the windows are installed.
